📘 3. Reading – About the Film

Pulp Fiction is a 1994 crime film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. It is one of the most famous and influential movies of the 1990s. The story is not told in normal order — the movie jumps back and forth in time and shows different characters in different moments. This “non-linear” style became one of the movie’s most iconic features. The film follows two hitmen, a gangster and his wife, a boxer, and other criminals, all connected by strange, violent, and surprising events.

The movie is known for its unique dialogue, dark humor, and famous scenes. The characters talk about food, TV, friendship, crime, and life in a very natural and funny way. The soundtrack also became famous, mixing old rock, soul, and surf music. Pulp Fiction won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival and helped revive the career of John Travolta. Today, it is considered a cult classic and one of the most quoted movies in cinema history. Many directors and writers say the film changed how movies are made.
